The role will instill a culture of happily providing assistance to students and faculty with research and other information needs, and promoting reading and literacy. Additionally, they will plan and lead library programs & special events, manage the library budget, and supervise library assistants. Overall, the job of a school librarian is essential in supporting the educational mission of the school and fostering a love of reading and learning among students.Job Responsibilities: 1. Be responsible for the overall library management including the operation system, budget, staff training, team building, etc. 2. Collaborate with the faculty in curriculum development, implementation and ****uation. Create an effective and informational learning environment for students. 3. Initiate programs to help students cultivate knowledge and skills which are required to better use library resources and facilitate their learning process. ****uate and report on the effectiveness of library programs. 4. Develop, organize, and manage information resources which meet the educational, cultural and recreational needs of students and professional needs of teachers.5. Build rapport and professional relationships with students, staff, and parents.6.
